Party in the Park 2017

Party in the Park Logo

Our 7th Party in the Park takes place Saturday 8th July on the Millennium Field.

As well as a fully licensed bar and Pig Roast, there will also be a great selection of live music, a childrens’ entertainer, fireworks and the traditional Proms Finale.

Tickets are on sale from The Oak and Baginton Village Stores and are priced at £10 per ticket on the night or £6 per ticket if purchased before 30th June.  There will also be on-site car parking for anybody wanting to take advantage of it priced at £2 per vehicle.

People coming are most welcome to bring their own picnics and benches although we will still have the provision of a licensed bar selling a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as the Pig Roast, Pizzas and hot drinks etc.

Acts this year include: -

Jaguar Land Rover Brass Band - recognised as one of the finest brass bands in the UK playing original music, classics, big band and the shows

The D-Day Darlings – playing the most popular music of the wartime era

Deja Vous – an ABBA tribute band

Mr Ben – a 4 piece cover band playing a mix of current and all time classics

We require volunteers to help us on the night.  If anybody can spare some time to help us, then please get in touch. We hope that as many of you as possible will come along and support the event and anybody requiring any further information - or wishing to volunteer to help with the event - can contact Gayle Goodwin on 02476 518855 / This email address is being protected from spambots. It promises to be a great evening - see you on 8th July!

Party in the Park 2016

Party in the Park Logo

Thank you very much to everyone who came along to the 6th Party in the Park. Considering the dreadful weather in the run up to the event we were very fortunate to have a dry day and in terms of attendance and feedback this year’s event was the most successful so far.

We would like to thank the following local businesses that provided sponsorship and support. It wouldn’t have been possible to put the event on without their assistance and time given: - Baginton Stores, Bookers Cash & Carry, Bubbenhall First Responders, Coventry Airport, Enterprise Inns, Hogans Cider, Smiths Nurseries, Stableprint Printers, Tudor Environmental, Warwickshire Beer Co

Once again, extra special thanks goes to Smiths Nurseries for their fabulous stage decorations, which made the whole area look fantastic. Without these beautiful potted flowers and shrubbery our staging would have looked very plain. Also thank you to City Vinyl for providing the sound on the day and to the new volunteers that helped at this year’s event – we hope to be able to secure your support for next year’s event.

Our costs of putting on the event each year are in the region of £7,000+ by the time that sound, acts, toilets, staging and lighting have all been paid for. Proceeds from the Baginton Bonfire and all monies taken on this event whether it is from the bar, pig roast or gate admissions are ploughed back into Baginton Events to enable this event and other events to take place. New events that we have introduced into the Baginton “Social” Calendar this year include The Big Lunch and Film Nights. We also hope to be able to introduce some other new events for 2017 so please watch this space……

The planning has already started for the 2017 event with the date having been set for Saturday 8th July. Please put the date in your diaries and book your holidays around it.

Tickets for this will go on sale on 1st November and it does look as if it could be a sell-out next year so we would recommend that you buy early to avoid disappointment.

“Baginton Events” is a small group of villagers who meet regularly to plan, organise and fund-raise events for our village. We receive no funding from the local council or any public body and we are heavily reliant on volunteers to help at our events. We would be very pleased to hear from anybody who is willing to help. Party in the Park 2015

Party in the Park LogoThank you very much to everyone who came along to the 5th Party in the Park. The weather was kind to us on the day and feedback is that this was the best event yet, with more people than ever attending on the day.

Thanks go to the following local businesses that provided sponsorship and support.  It wouldn’t have been possible to put the event on without their assistance and time given: - Baginton Stores, Bookers Cash & Carry, Bubbenhall First Responders, Coventry Airport, CFS, Enterprise Inns, Finham Primary School, Hogans Cider, Smiths Nurseries, Tudor Environmental, Warwickshire Beer Co.

Special thanks go as well to Smiths Nurseries for their fabulous stage decorations, which made the whole area look fantastic.  Without these beautiful potted flowers and shrubbery our staging would have looked very plain.  Also thank you to City Vinyl for providing the sound on the day.  They did a great job and appear to have ironed out the sound issues that we have had over the previous years. Thanks also to those who helped us to set up and organise on the day and clear up over the next few days.

The planning has already started for the 2016 event with the date having been set for Saturday 9th July. Please put the date in your diaries and book your holidays around it. Tickets for this will go on sale on 1st September and it does look as if it could be a sell-out next year, so we would recommend that you buy early to avoid disappointment.
