Party in the Park

Plans for the 2nd Party in the Park are well underway with this year’s event promising to be even bigger and better. 

The 2012 event takes place on Saturday 14th July with the following activities are already confirmed: -

Daytime entertainment - from 11.00am

• City of Coventry Brass - performing a wide repertoire of music
• Pig Roast and Refreshments (Day and Night)
• Licensed Bar operational throughout the day
• Classic Car Display
• Tug of War Competition
• Children’s Arena
• Face Painting
• Bouncy Castle
• Dog Agility Display
• Dance Display
• Fairground Rides
• Cake Stall
• Craft Marquee featuring local suppliers

Evening Concert 7.00pm - 10.30pm (gates open at 5.30pm)

• Mr Ben - a four piece covers band comprising of vocals, bass guitar, drums and guitar. Playing a mix of popular songs and all time classics
• Espressivo - a quartet of singers whose repertoire spans everything from grand opera to musical theatre
• Spires Youth Orchestra - a group of musicians between the ages of 11 and 21, who have achieved grade 7+ standard for wind and grade 6+ for strings
• Best Dressed Table Competition 
• Traditional Proms style finale with fireworks.

Tickets for the evening concert are available from Baginton Oak and Baginton Village Stores - £5 per person on the day. Children free with accompanying adult.
