About The Event
The Big Baginton Bike Ride will take place on Sunday 19th August. It will be the 4th running of the event, which raises funding for several Charities, including the Baginton Lions Junior Football Team.
This year's event will support Zoe's Place Baby Hospice and Myton Hospice as well.
The event is organised by Coventry Olympic Group Sportive (COGS), the non-competitive section of Team Jewson MI Racing, Coventry's only Elite Cycle Race Team, assisted by Coventry Lions International.
The event will start and finish at The Oak public house, Baginton.
To encourage villagers to participate, there will be a 10 mile Family and Leisure Ride starting at 10am.
The Challenge Ride of 37 miles starts at 9.30am.
and the Epic Ride of 66 miles starts at 9am.
Please put a note in your diary and let's see a record breaking number of participants this year. All the routes are on quiet country roads/lanes - the route will be fully marked and there will be drinks stations on the two longer rides.
Bike Wrench will be in attendance at the start, to check over bikes if required.
